Meninak Awards $25,000 In Scholarships                    To 5 Jacksonville Area High School Seniors

The Meninak Club presented a total of $25,000 in scholarships to five exceptional area high school students on May 19th during its regularly scheduled meeting at the Wyndham Riverwalk Hotel. This is the 18th year that the Meninak Leadership Grants have been awarded, bringing the total to $450,000 and 90 high school students. "This unique scholarship recognizes leadership in Jacksonville's youth and encourages further educational development for potential leaders", said Will Wheeler, Scholarship Committee Chair.

The five recipients were selected after reviews based on leadership, financial need, academic potential and participation in the Youth Leadership Jacksonville Program. The Grants are used to help the student attend an accredited four-year college or university of their choosing. This year's recipients are:
